No shows to speak of in Omaha tonight, so it’s back to Lincoln for SSION at the Bourbon Theater. When I first saw Icky Blossoms all those years ago, SSION was the band that immediately came to mind, and in fact Icky band members have said they’re all big fans of the KC band that pronounces its name “Shun” (for years I mispronounced it “psyon”).  Take a look at SSION’s latest video for “Earthquake” and see if you can spot how they’ve influenced Icky (if only in spirit). Also on the bill, House of Ladosha and Lincoln’s most twisted performer, Plack Blague. $15, 8 p.m.

Now can someone please get them to come to Omaha again?
