When’s the last time he played around here? 1997 for Odelay? He would draw well with the indie crowd (GBV fans), the 90′s alt rockers (J. Mascis fans) and the “I’ve heard of that guy before, let’s check out a show” people (the people that show up for Matisyahu without owning a Matisyahu album).
I went to MAHA last year and thought it was great…extremely well done. The one thing I thought it lacked was a true headliner. I think there is momentum to put together a full day of bands that people would want to come out and see, as well as a headliner that will draw some people out that normally wouldn’t be there.
